I’m very happy to present one of my latest collaborations in the form of this beautiful book. Tasting Rome walks you through the past and present of Roman cuisine, history and recipes mixed with brief introductions to each one of the classic dishes and so much more. Working with and seeing how a book project like this evolves has been extremely stimulating and this collaboration has been very dear to me, working with authors Katie Parla and Kristina Gill. During the production of this book I’ve tried to lend a hand in all my fields of expertise and of course I put most of my effort into developing the majority of the recipes in the bread and pizza chapter. I really wanted the recipes to be authentic and deliver professional results and at the same time feasible to execute in a home kitchen. It’s been very exciting to collaborate on such a big project and I think the end result is awesome, fulfilling all my expectations and more.
